Do you know why you are not happy? Because you think about a very small matter all day long, feel anxious and drained when you hear others talk about you, regret the wrong decisions you made, and delay letting go. You must understand that what has happened has happened, and what has been said has been said; do not regret it or care about others' evaluations, and do not glorify the road you have not taken. The things you are meant to experience will be experienced eventually; do not overthink. You need to be more open-minded, allow everything to happen, maintain a good mindset, and make your own happiness a top priority. Overthinking is a common problem for modern people. We toss and turn over a careless remark, weigh repeatedly over a minor decision, and deny ourselves because of others' evaluations. This mental drain is like a war without gunpowder, consuming our energy and eroding our happiness. However, upon reflection, most of these troubles stem from our obsession with wanting to control everything, forgetting that life is a journey full of uncertainties. Those moments of being entangled in past decisions, caring about others' opinions, and fantasizing about the paths not taken are like invisible shackles, binding our steps forward. Regret and fantasy are both escapes from the present. We habitually beautify the roads we did not choose, believing that they must be filled with flowers. Little do we know, every road has its bumps and thorns. The wonderful things we think we have missed may just be illusions woven by our imagination. Similarly, being fixated on past decisions is merely using today's maturity to criticize yesterday's naivety. Let go of the obsession with perfection, accept the imperfections in life; let go of the desire for control, embrace life's uncertainties; let go of caring about others' evaluations, and live out your true self. This is not a passive resignation but an active release. When we learn to face the ups and downs of life with a peaceful mindset, we will find that happiness is actually quite simple. It does not depend on external evaluations, nor on perfect choices, but on how we view everything that happens to us. Allowing everything to happen is the greatest kindness to ourselves. Let go of the burden of overthinking, move forward lightly, go with the flow, and seek inner peace and happiness in acceptance.
