Iran has threatened to strike at the interests of countries that join the US economic campaign against Tehran. Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council Mohsen Rezaei said that if sanctions are maintained, Tehran may block oil exports not only through the Strait of Hormuz, which is already closed, but from the entire Persian Gulf in general.
