Blockstream is refusing to “pay a ransom” for the 598.5 $BTC still held by the attackers after the Liquid exploit. 3,400 BTC was returned after Blockstream confirmed the affected bridge nodes were patched. But roughly $47M is still sitting with the people who exploited the bug. And honestly, this is where the whole “white hat” label gets complicated. If there was no agreement that allowed the attackers to keep a portion of the funds, what exactly is the $47M? A bounty? A negotiation? Or simply money they decided to keep after exploiting the system? Blockstream’s position is clear: Bitcoin can’t just be minted to make the loss disappear, and users shouldn’t have to take the haircut. Now they’re going after the remaining funds work with law enforcement, exchanges and forensic specialists to trace the remaining funds if they are not returned. The exploit may be patched, but the most interesting part of this story might be what happens to those 598.5 $BTC next. Withdrawals to the Bitcoin network still remain disabled.

RWAs has been gaining momentum and you may want to pay attention to detail a lil bit… There is now roughly $39B worth of traditional assets onchain, excluding stablecoins. Tokenized Treasuries still dominate at $15.86B, but equities are catching up quickly. There are already 5,743 tokenized stocks and ETFs, generating $13.31B in monthly transfer volume, with 3.17M holders, up 174% in just 30 days. The interesting part is how fragmented this market is becoming. $ONDO leads tokenized stocks with $850M, followed by bstocksfinance at $643M and xStocksFi at $628M. And the assets aren't sitting on one chain either. $ETH currently accounts for $17.5B in RWA value, $BNB Chain has $5.6B, and $SOL has $4.4B. Even Robinhood has already reached $144M in tokenized equities. But I think the $39B figure is only the beginning. Putting a Treasury or stock onchain is useful, but the bigger picture is what happens after tokenization. > Can that asset become collateral? > Can you borrow against it? > Can it earn yield inside DeFi? > Can it settle globally at any hour without waiting for traditional market infrastructure? That’s what makes RWAs much more interesting. We’re moving from simply putting traditional assets onchain to making those assets usable as onchain financial primitives.

$BTC is starting to look like it has a very clear ceiling and floor. Glassnode says roughly 1.07M $BTC sits in the $83K-$86K cost-basis range, with long-term holders making up most of that supply. That makes $83K-$85K more than just a resistance line. There are a lot of holders around there who could decide to sell if BTC gets back to their entry. But the other side matters too. If BTC loses $75K, Glassnode says the next major downside level could be around $60K. So for me, the real battle isn't simply whether Bitcoin can break $85K. It's whether buyers have enough strength to absorb the long-term holder supply above them, while keeping $75K intact below. The next few weeks could tell us a lot about which side has more conviction.

$107M has flowed into Bitwise’s Solana ETF in just 20 trading days. BSOL recorded $107.4M in net inflows, with investors pulling money out on only 2 of those days. That’s pretty interesting while $SOL is trading lower. Can’t fathom yet whether this is early institutional conviction or simply investors positioning for the next $SOL recovery.

A Osmosis interrompeu depósitos, saques, cunhagem e resgates enquanto a situação é contida. O Osmosis em si não foi comprometido, nem o IBC.

$BTC whales are sitting on a record amount of unrealized profit. Short-term whale profits just hit $9.07B, the highest level in the metric’s history, according to CryptoQuant. That doesn’t automatically mean $9B is about to be dumped. But it does creates a lot of potential sell-side pressure. But when this much profit is concentrated in newer whale positions, even a small BTC pullback could give some of them a reason to cash out. Now those same profits could become the selling pressure.

$ETH might be making one of its biggest UX improvements yet. You can have $1,000 in USDC sitting in your wallet and still be unable to send it because you have zero $ETH for gas. That makes little sense to a normal user. EIP-8141 could change this by letting apps or wallets pay the gas on your behalf and charge you in stablecoins instead. So you could hold USDC, pay the fee in USDC, and never need to keep a small amount of ETH around just to make a transaction. But the interesting part goes beyond gas. Frame Transactions could let wallets bundle things like approvals and swaps into a single transaction, while also making it easier to upgrade wallet security without forcing users to move their funds to a new address. That is the kind of abstraction crypto needs. Users shouldn't have to understand which token pays gas, approve one transaction, sign another, then move funds just because they upgraded their wallet. If Ethereum gets this right, the blockchain becomes less visible to the user. And honestly, that's probably how it should be, don’t you think?

18 people have been charged in what prosecutors describe as the first $BTC RICO case, involving the alleged theft of $263M in crypto from a single victim. At the center is 22-year-old Malone Lam, who allegedly posed as Google and Gemini staff to convince a Washington, D.C. resident to surrender access to 4,100 BTC. The money allegedly funded an absurd lifestyle. The group reportedly spent $4M at LA clubs in just one month, while Lam allegedly dropped $569K in a single night. And the operation allegedly didn’t stop behind bars. Prosecutors say Lam continued giving orders, including having Hermès Birkin bags delivered to his girlfriend in Miami. Privacy is emerging as crypto’s strongest sector, according to Glassnode. While $BTC is still 36% below its October 2025 peak and the median top-200 asset is down 58%, privacy coins are up 213%. The privacy sector has grown from $7.1B to $33.6B in a year, with nearly half of that growth coming in the past month. $ZEC is leading the move, but it isn’t just ZEC. All eight privacy coins with at least a year of history are up. Even excluding ZEC, the privacy basket is still up 85%. Privacy might be the market’s biggest trade right now.
