Yesterday I reviewed a stack of gold charts I had marked as "edge." Most of them weren't.
They sat in the middle of a post-climax range, or on the wrong side of the structure. Real edge is rare: the place where bodies cluster, where failed wicks prove the boundary, where the 1H direction is clear enough to wait for a 15m trigger. Everything else is just noise wearing a label.
Trading got quieter when I stopped predicting and started classifying: trend, channel, range, or "none." Bandwidth goes to the strong edges. The rest of the day can stay empty-handed.
