I couldn’t sleep last night, and neither could my sister. We were just lying in the dark, talking about random things like we always do. Somehow the conversation drifted to the future. She asked me, “Do you ever think all this time you spend reading about crypto will actually pay off?” I didn’t even know how to answer. I just said, “Maybe not today, but at least I’m learning something every day.” That conversation stayed in my head this morning, so when I came across the @babylonlabs_io campaign, I actually sat down and read through it instead of rushing to post. What I found interesting about Trustless Bitcoin Vaults (TBV) wasn’t just the borrowing part. It was the idea that Bitcoin can stay native instead of being wrapped or moved through different systems just to be useful. That felt closer to what many Bitcoin holders have wanted all along. The first TBV use case is already live on the public testnet with Aave v4, where native BTC can be used as collateral to borrow supported assets on Ethereum. Babylon is also asking the community to test the experience and share feedback, which I think is a better way to understand a product than simply reading about it. Funny how a late-night conversation with my sister ended up sending me down another research rabbit hole today. @babylonlabs_io $BABY #baby
