Another protocol gets absolutely nuked.

Total carnage for MAYAChain. A $1.7M exploit used six chained bugs to drain CACAO, sending the token down 89%. This is a brutal reminder that security is still a massive weak point.

🔐 SECURITY ALERT:

MAYAChain’s recent exploit reportedly saw around $1.36M moved off-network, but the impact appears much larger, with estimated pool losses approaching $11M.

The biggest question now is recovery. There’s still no final clarity on how losses will be allocated, when the protocol might restart, or how affected LPs could be compensated.

Another reminder that in DeFi, one exploit can create a much bigger ripple effect than the initial funds stolen. ⚠️
