Binance has just invested US$100 million in Circle, the company behind #USDC: USDC is gaining significant traction on the exchange.

The two companies will expand their partnership to integrate USDC into Binance's savings/investment products and promote USDC-denominated pairs through incentives such as lower fees.

USDC already has a market capitalization of approximately US$75 billion and is the second-largest stablecoin. The original Binance–Circle partnership began in 2014; the new development is that Binance is now also becoming a shareholder in Circle.

This makes USDC even more strategic within the Binance ecosystem.

This doesn't mean you should switch your stablecoins. But it does increase the likelihood that Binance will progressively incentivize USDC as a payment, trading, and savings rail, especially as it seeks regulated markets.

If new, concrete benefits of USDC appear on Binance—cheaper withdrawals, better pairs, or useful products—then it would make sense to compare. Investment alone doesn't justify moving money.

🧠 Market Watch: June 16

BTC is in a recovery climb after the drop from 108k to 103k. I sold half of my holdings at 108.5k, keeping the rest long-term.

Now I’m watching volume + MA lines closely. If it drops again (101k or lower), I’ll ladder in small buys and hold long-term.
