The more I looked into TermMax’s FT and XT setup, the more I realized the interesting part isnt just how debt is priced. A debt token can be represented through two complementary pieces, where 1 FT + 1 XT makes up the full debt position. The FT carries the face-value claim toward maturity, while XT represents the remaining side of that position. What stood out to me is how this changes the way the position can be used. A lender can keep the fixed-value component, while the borrower can work with the other component separately and potentially turn it into liquidity. So for me, the interesting part isnt simply splitting one debt position…. its creating separate pieces that can serve different purposes while still belonging to the same underlying claim. @termmax #TermMax

I was looking into the NPEX side of Dusk and got stuck on something pretty simple… getting a regulated asset onchain is one thing, but what happens once it’s actually there? That part feels a lot more important than the usual “RWAs are coming onchain” headline. NPEX is an AFM-regulated exchange, licensed as an MTF, Broker and ECSP, and the plan is to bring 300M+ EUR in assets onchain through Dusk. I kept thinking about that number, but honestly the regulatory side interested me more. You’re dealing with real financial assets, so privacy, compliance and the rules around who can do what can’t just disappear because the asset became a token. 🤯 That’s probably why the NPEX connection stands out to me. A lot of crypto projects talk about getting institutions onchain, but regulated institutions have a very different set of requirements. The infrastructure has to work around those requirements from the start, not bolt them on later. Dusk seems to be taking that approach. I still want to see what this looks like when more actual assets and market activity start flowing through it 😂. But if NPEX and other regulated venues can really use Dusk for financial markets, then this gets a lot more interesting than another tokenization story. I’m more curious about that part now than the token itself. @Dusk_Foundation #dusk $DUSK

TermMax is interesting because knowing the borrowing cost upfront makes it easier to decide if a strategy is actually worth taking.
