🏦 📚 TradFi for Beginners: Understanding the Traditional Financial System

Before Bitcoin existed, money already had an entire world of institutions, rules, and trading systems behind it. That world is called Traditional Finance, or TradFi.

Think about your bank account, a mortgage, buying company shares, government bonds, or exchanging currencies. These are all parts of TradFi.

In this system, banks, brokers, stock exchanges, insurance companies, and central banks play important roles. They help people save, borrow, invest, transfer money, and manage financial risks.

Now comes the interesting comparison:

TradFi: Mostly operates through established institutions and regulated financial markets.

DeFi: Uses blockchain-based applications and smart contracts to provide financial services without relying on traditional intermediaries in the same way.

My perspective: TradFi isn't disappearing just because crypto exists. Instead, both financial worlds are exploring ways to connect. Tokenized stocks and real-world assets are examples of that intersection.

But remember, newer technology doesn't automatically mean lower risk. Understanding the system matters more than following the trend.

The real lesson: Learn how money works before deciding where to invest it.

Do you think traditional finance and DeFi will eventually work together?
