Have you noticed that a TVL record in tokenized Treasuries is getting less attention than another week of ETF outflows?

The usual trap is buying the headline instead of the flow. People see deposits climb, market-buy the token, and then have no idea when to get out because they never asked who was actually locking capital.

Ondo Finance taking the TVL lead is a cleaner case study than most on-chain records. This is short-duration government paper, not leverage looking for a narrative. Money leaving spot $BTC products does not have to exit crypto. A neutral tape, Fear and Greed sitting at 52, is exactly when a dollar yield parked against $USDT looks more rational than chasing the next ticker. That buyer is not the same one rotating into $ONDO because a chart went vertical.

What the mainstream still flattens is the difference between rented liquidity and sticky demand. TVL can be bought with incentives and gone a week later. This print only means something if it holds after the points noise fades, because then it is a read on demand for cash, not on risk appetite.

If Treasury yields keep compressing, does that TVL stay put or was it just the parking spot?
