$ATOM is up 16.96% in 24 hours to 2.076. Most of the top gainers today are small coins, so an older large project in that list stands out to me. BTC did 1.02% in the same window, so this did not come from the market as a whole.
Volume is 23.2 million dollars. For a coin with ATOM's history, that is a real number but not a huge one, and I would want to see it grow before I trust the move.
Quick check on what I wrote six hours ago. I said I wanted $MAGIC to keep its volume and stay above 0.10. It is at 0.1222 now and 24h volume went from 20.6 to 34 million dollars, so both conditions held. The Fear & Greed index also went back up from 59 to 64, so the cooling I pointed out did not last.
For tomorrow, I want to see whether ATOM can hold above 2 with volume rising. If it slips back under 2 quickly, it was a one-day move and I will treat it that way.
