Good Project or Just Good Marketing? 👀
One thing I’ve learned in crypto: a good-looking chart doesn’t automatically mean a good project.
It’s easy to get excited when a token is pumping, influencers are talking about it, and everyone is predicting the next 100x. But before putting money in, I prefer to look a little deeper. 🔍
👥 Team: Who is actually building it? Do they have experience and a track record?
🛠️ Utility: What real problem does the project solve? Is there genuine use beyond the token?
🪙 Tokenomics: Check supply, unlocks, allocations and vesting. Huge future unlocks can create serious selling pressure.
💧 Liquidity: High market cap means little if liquidity is weak. Low liquidity can lead to heavy slippage when buying or selling.
🌐 Community: Don’t judge a project by follower numbers alone. Real users, developers, partnerships and ecosystem activity matter much more.
🔨 Development: Are they actually building and delivering, or only becoming active when the price starts moving?
🚩 Red flags: Guaranteed profits, unrealistic promises, aggressive shilling, unclear partnerships and crazy APYs should make you stop and investigate.
For me, the biggest rule is simple:
Don’t fall in love with the chart. Fall in love with the research.
A real project doesn’t need to promise you a 100x.
