The U.S. labor market still looks fairly stable. Initial claims have stayed within a relatively low range this year, showing what economists describe as a “slow hiring, slow firing” environment.
At the same time, companies are still being careful about hiring new workers. Layoffs announced so far this year are also lower than last year, which is helping support the overall economy.
Another important point is the Federal Reserve.
If the labor market remains strong while inflation stays high, the Fed may continue to keep monetary policy tight. This can have an impact on risk assets like Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.
The next major focus is the U.S. jobs report, which is expected to give a clearer picture of employment and unemployment.
For crypto traders, U.S. economic data is important because changes in employment, inflation and Fed policy can affect market sentiment and Bitcoin volatility. 📈📉
