FUN to be at a @FedSoc event for 1st time in ~30yrs. My, how it has grown since then (the Scalia dinner had 2400 people tonight). They paid tribute to C Boyden Gray, who was White House Counsel when I was a White House intern during grad school in ‘92. Bit of a time warp for me. Justice Amy Coney Barrett describes herself as a “1 jalapeño writer” while she described Scalia (for whom she clerked) as a “5 jalapeño writer”. Best part of the night? Randomly being seated at a Williams & Connolly, table with a familiar face. IYKYK , And…just ran into yet another HLS ‘94 classmate in an elevator. REALLY small world tonight!🌎.
