I've started paying less attention to what blockchain projects promise and more attention to what assumptions they're willing to challenge.

That's one reason DUSK keeps finding its way back onto my reading list.

For years, the industry has largely treated public transparency as the default model for trust. DUSK takes a different position. It explores whether regulated financial applications can rely on verifiable outcomes instead of universal data exposure. That isn't just another product feature—it questions one of the industry's longest-standing design assumptions.

I find that far more interesting than another discussion about transaction speed or network rankings.

History usually favors infrastructure that solves tomorrow's constraints before the market fully recognizes them. If institutions continue exploring tokenized finance, I think the debate will gradually shift away from how public a blockchain is and toward how practical it is for regulated markets.

That's exactly where I think DUSK is trying to position itself.

J’ai remarqué quelque chose d’intéressant en suivant l’infrastructure blockchain.

Les projets qui survivent ne sont généralement pas ceux qui essaient de remplacer le système financier du jour au lendemain. Ce sont plutôt ceux qui cherchent à résoudre exceptionnellement bien un seul problème coûteux.

C’est pourquoi je reviens sans cesse vers DUSK.

Quand je regarde au-delà des titres, je ne vois pas un réseau qui tente d’être tout pour tout le monde. Je vois un projet concentré sur un défi précis : permettre des applications financières réglementées où la confidentialité et la conformité vérifiable peuvent coexister. Dans une industrie qui célèbre souvent les solutions généralistes, ce niveau de spécialisation se démarque.

Ironiquement, être trop focalisé pourrait devenir le plus grand atout de DUSK. L’infrastructure financière ne récompense pas toujours la vision la plus large : elle récompense souvent la plus claire.

Je ne sais pas à quelle vitesse les institutions passeront à la chaîne, mais si cette transition s’accélère, je pense que les projets qui ont passé des années à résoudre un problème précis seront dans une position bien plus forte que ceux qui ont passé des années à poursuivre chaque récit.

C’est pourquoi DUSK reste l’une des histoires d’infrastructure les plus intéressantes que je suive.
