: A 4,000% Pump… Then an 84% Crash. 📈📉

Few moves show the brutal nature of crypto speculation better than what just happened to $IRYS .

From its recent low, IRYS reportedly surged by more than 4,000%, before crashing approximately 84% from its peak.

Think about that for a moment.

A $1,000 position bought near the bottom could theoretically have grown to over $41,000 at the peak — only to fall to around $6,560 if the price then dropped 84%, assuming no leverage, fees, or slippage.

So, what caused this extreme move?

🔹 Short squeeze: Rising prices can force short sellers to close positions, creating additional buying pressure.

🔹 FOMO: Traders see an explosive rally and rush in, afraid of missing the next big move.

🔹 Profit-taking and liquidations: Once momentum reverses, aggressive selling and leveraged liquidations can accelerate the crash.

However, these are possible mechanisms, not proof of the exact trigger behind IRYS's move. A definitive explanation requires verified price, volume, derivatives, and project-related data.

The biggest lesson?

A coin that rises 4,000% can still destroy late buyers when it reverses. And after an 84% crash, it still needs another 525% rally just to recover its peak price.
