₿ 5 BITCOIN SIGNALS MOST TRADERS IGNORE

Most traders watch only the Bitcoin price.

But price is often the LAST thing I look at.

Before making any trading decision, I watch these 5 signals:

1️⃣ BTC DOMINANCE
If BTC Dominance starts strengthening, it can show that capital is flowing toward Bitcoin relative to the broader crypto market.

2️⃣ EXCHANGE RESERVES
A sustained decline in BTC held on exchanges can indicate that more coins are moving away from immediately tradable supply.

3️⃣ FUNDING RATE
Low and stable funding can mean the perpetual futures market is not extremely crowded on one side.

4️⃣ OPEN INTEREST
Price rising with a steady increase in OI can show growing participation.
But a sudden OI spike can also mean leverage is building quickly.

5️⃣ LIQUIDATION HEATMAP
Large liquidation clusters can become important liquidity areas. They can help traders understand where leveraged positions may be vulnerable.

🧠 THE REAL LESSON:

Don't try to predict every Bitcoin move.

Try to understand what is happening BEFORE the move.

Price + Volume + OI + Funding + Liquidity
= A much better market picture than price alone.

₿ PRICE UP ≠ LEVERAGE UP

There’s an important Bitcoin signal that many traders overlook.

Even when Bitcoin’s price rises quickly, if the Funding Rate does not increase significantly and Open Interest does not expand abnormally, the rally may not be driven purely by excessive leverage.

📊 SEPTEMBER 15 → 23

Bitcoin Price: $76,809 → $86,403

📈 Gain: +12.5%

During the same period, the 8-hour average Funding Rate across Binance, Bybit, and OKX remained around 0.002%–0.009%.

Another important data point:

BTC Perpetual Open Interest was around $26.6B.

This means leverage was present in the market, but derivatives positioning did not expand dramatically relative to the price move.

🧠 THE TRADING LESSON

Don’t look at price alone.

Price ↑ + Open Interest ↑↑ + Funding Rate ↑↑
➡️ Higher risk of a leverage-driven move.

Price ↑ + Low Funding Rate + Stable Open Interest
➡️ Spot buying may be playing a larger role in the move.

Funding Rate and Open Interest cannot predict Bitcoin’s next move by themselves.

আরও শক্তিশালী analysis-এর জন্য Funding Rate + Open Interest + Price একসাথে দেখা যায়।

📌 উদাহরণ:

Price ↑ + OI ↑ → নতুন positions যোগ হওয়ার ইঙ্গিত হতে পারে

Price ↑ + Funding অনেক বেশি → Long positioning বেশি crowded হতে পারে

Price ↓ + Negative Funding → Short positioning বেশি হতে পারে
