#BitcoinMiningDifficultyFalls14%FromYearHigh Here is the visual breakdown of your screenshot in English: What's happening in the image you sent? #BitcoinMiningDifficultyFalls 14% From Year High Mining Difficulty Collapse: The Bitcoin network difficulty has dropped to 126.23T - that's a -19.1% drop from the peak and -14% from the Year High of 147.05T. This is only the second time in history that difficulty has fallen below year-earlier levels. The Data Center Paradox: The confusing part everyone is asking about - How can difficulty drop 14% but Network Power Usage Jump +38%? Miners are not shutting off power. They are pivoting to AI Infrastructure. They are repurposing their mining rigs and data centers for GPU Clusters, AI/ML Compute, and LLM Training. AI compute uses ∼38% more power than Bitcoin mining, so total power goes from ∼6.2 GW to ∼8.6 GW. Why are they doing it? Key Driver: Hashprice drop after the Bitcoin halving made mining less profitable. New Trend: Miners are signing HPC & AI cloud contracts because renting out AI compute is more profitable than mining BTC right now. In short: Difficulty is down because fewer machines are mining Bitcoin, but power is up because those same facilities are now burning even more power to train AI. BTC is still slightly up +0.76% in this context.
