On September 17, African fintech Daya integrated Sui as settlement infrastructure for gasless stablecoin transfers, cross-border payments and treasury management.

The integration is already live across Daya Business, Daya Pro and Daya APIs.

🇳🇬 Daya is currently live in Nigeria, with plans to expand into South Africa, Ghana and Kenya.

Why is this interesting?

One major problem with blockchain payments is the need to hold a network's native token just to pay gas.

Sui's gasless stablecoin infrastructure removes that friction.

Businesses can move supported stablecoins without first acquiring SUI simply to pay transaction fees.

BUT THERE'S A CATCH

Phantom has confirmed that it will end Sui support on September 24.
