🚹 APTOS JUST ACTIVATED A NEW LAYER OF TRANSACTION PROTECTION

Aptos has officially launched Encrypted Mempool on mainnet — a major upgrade designed to help protect users from front-running and sandwich attacks.

Here’s why it matters: normally, pending transaction details can be visible before execution, creating opportunities for others to manipulate transaction ordering. With Aptos’ new opt-in feature, transaction contents remain encrypted until the block’s ordering is finalized.

The upgrade went live on October 12, according to Aptos’ official announcement. It uses the network’s existing validators to handle decryption, without adding a new external trust provider. However, the sender’s address and transaction fee remain visible.

This is more than a roadmap promise — the feature is now live on Aptos mainnet.

The next question is how widely wallets and applications adopt it.
