$BTC : Structure Is Improving, Flows Are Not Confirming Yet
Bitcoin is trading near $84K with four straight weekly closes above the 50-week MA, after spending most of 2026 below it.
The money side tells a different story. US spot Bitcoin ETFs saw roughly $679M in net outflows across Oct 5 to Oct 9. The heaviest days were Oct 7 (-$485M) and Oct 8 (-$244M). Friday turned slightly positive at +$21M.
The liquidation heatmap also shows dense liquidity clusters just above and just below the current price. That makes this zone prone to sharp moves in either direction.
Scenario map:
✅ Price holds the 50W MA on a retest and ETF flows turn consistently positive: confirmation improves.
⚠️ Weekly close back below the 50W MA: the range thesis comes back.
