A licensed venue with 20,000+ investors and €200M+ confirmed issuance moving workflow onchain that's real demand for blockspace, not speculative farm churn. Fees, staking, governance, all flowing through one token. But let's be honest about the other side. The January run to $0.30 a 583% move pulled in a lot of people who don't know what selective disclosure even means. When that crowd exits, the chart won't care about the fundamentals. Liquidity is still thin, and 50K+ investor reach is promising but small next to Ethereum's RWA stack. Over 210M $DUSK locked securing the network that's a serious chunk of supply off the market, and it says more about holder conviction than any price chart. What I find interesting is the structure. It's not trying to be everything. One L1, deterministic ~10s finality, ZK for privacy but with selective disclosure so regulators can actually audit. That's the tradeoff most "privacy chains" refuse to make, and it's exactly why NPEX is willing to push real securities through it. But here's my hesitation: if institutions are the users, how much does retail governance actually weigh? Token holders vote on direction, sure, but the roadmap is clearly institution-led. Governance could end up more ceremonial than real. Also worth remembering liquidity is still thin compared to majors. One big exit moves things. So genuine question: does compliance-first governance attract long-term capital, or just recreate the same power structures onchain? #dusk
