After looking through Anoma's official documentation, funding history and tokenomics, here's the part I'd pay attention to BEFORE considering XAN.
🪙 XAN TOKENOMICS
Total supply: 10 BILLION XAN
The official allocation is:
🟢 25% — Community, marketing & liquidity
🔵 19% — R&D & ecosystem
🟣 10% — Anoma Foundation
🟠 31% — Backers
🔴 15% — Core contributors
That means 46% of the total supply is allocated to backers + core contributors.
That's not automatically bad — but it's something investors should understand.
🔓 THE UNLOCK SCHEDULE MATTERS
Anoma says allocations for:
• Foundation
• R&D & ecosystem
• Backers
• Core contributors
have a 12-month lock-up.
After that, they unlock linearly over 36 months.
Why does this matter?
Because as more tokens become liquid, the market has to absorb additional supply.
More supply does NOT automatically mean the price will fall — but future unlocks can create selling pressure if recipients decide to sell.
💰 FUNDING
Anoma has attracted significant crypto-industry backing.
Its 2023 funding round raised $25 million, co-led by CMCC Global, with Electric Capital participating again.
Other disclosed backers included Delphi Digital, Dialectic, KR1, Spartan, NGC, MH Ventures, Bixin Ventures and others.
Earlier rounds included participation from firms such as Polychain Capital and Coinbase Ventures.
Strong investors can be a positive signal.
But remember:
VC backing ≠ guaranteed success.
🕌 NOW THE IMPORTANT PART: SHARIAH CHECK
I would NOT label $XAN simply "halal" or "haram" based on tokenomics alone.
From the information I've reviewed, XAN has stated network functions including:
✅ Payments
✅ Transaction fees
✅ Governance
✅ Coordination of the Anoma ecosystem
Those functions are not inherently interest-based.
However, there are things that deserve further investigation.
⚠️ Anoma's ecosystem also includes financial applications and yield-related products. For example, AnomaPay currently supports sUSDS and Sky's savings rate through an integration with Osero.
That does NOT automatically make XAN itself impermissible.
But it means we shouldn't make a careless "100% halal" claim without examining the actual product, transaction and token use involved.
📊 MY CURRENT VERDICT
Technology: 🟢 Interesting
Funding: 🟢 Strong backing
Token utility: 🟢 Real network functions
Token concentration: 🟡 Worth watching
Future unlocks: 🟡 Important risk
Shariah status: 🟡 Needs deeper scholarly/contract-level analysis
Investment risk: 🔴 HIGH
And one final warning:
Binance Alpha ≠ guaranteed Binance Spot listing.
Alpha assets are early-stage and can be highly volatile.

Binance Alpha recently announced Anoma ($XAN ) as an upcoming Alpha project.
But what is Anoma actually building?
It's NOT simply "another blockchain."
🧩 The idea: INTENTS
Normally, you tell a blockchain how to execute a transaction.
Anoma wants users to describe what outcome they want, while the system finds a way to satisfy that request.
For example:
Instead of manually figuring out:
➡️ Which chain?
➡️ Which DEX?
➡️ Which route?
➡️ Which transaction?
➡️ Which liquidity?
You could express something closer to:
"I want to exchange X for Y under these conditions."
Anoma's architecture is designed around these intents, with decentralized "solvers" finding ways to satisfy them.
🌐 Why this is interesting
Anoma's goal goes beyond simple token swaps.
Its architecture is designed around:
🔹 Generalized intents
🔹 Cross-chain interoperability
🔹 Programmable privacy
🔹 Scalable applications
🔹 Decentralized coordination
Anoma says its technology can allow applications to work across different blockchains without users having to deal with all the underlying complexity themselves.
🪙 And what about $XAN ?
According to Anoma, XAN is intended to be the economic coordination mechanism for the Anoma ecosystem.
But here's where I'm staying cautious:
A good technology ≠ automatically a good investment.
And Binance Alpha ≠ guaranteed Binance Spot listing.
Binance has announced Anoma for its Alpha platform, with eligible users able to claim an airdrop using Alpha Points once trading opens. The exact claim requirements have not yet been announced.
🕌 HALALCRYPTOGUIDE CHECK
I'm not calling $XAN halal yet.
Before making that judgment, I'd want to investigate:
• What exactly does XAN do economically?
• How is the token distributed?
• Staking/reward mechanisms
• Network fees
• Governance
• Whether any interest-based mechanisms are involved
• Token unlocks and insider allocations
Technology looks interesting. The token still needs deeper research.
