Everyone knows $BTC is going to $100k. That's exactly why it goes to $55,000 first

When something is "obvious to everyone" that's not a buy signal. That's the coordinate where liquidity is parked.

The current market consensus: rotation out of tech giants into real assets, infrastructure, and Bitcoin. This thesis is correct. But traders building positions right now are making the classic mistake - they're not buying the start of a move. They're buying the end of a narrative, after it's already priced in.

Macro: Trump does what he says

The strategy is straightforward: destabilize the Middle East → expensive oil → hit China's logistics and Europe's energy → capital flight into dollars and US Treasuries. Europe is already locked into long-term contracts for American LNG. China is bleeding on logistics. The dollar strengthens.

This is not a theory. This is a mechanism unfolding right now.

My oil thesis hasn't changed the detailed analysis is published on my TradingView profile. The war in the Middle East will not end with a peace agreement. Iran will not accept Israel's existence. Israel cannot exist alongside a nuclear Iran. That equation cannot be solved at a negotiating table. Oil stays expensive for a long time.

The dollar strengthening means pressure on risk assets. Bitcoin is not an exception. The rally comes after, not instead.

That context brings one asset into focus.

MSTR: A pyramid in its growth phase

Saylor built a beautiful structure. Raise capital through preferred shares at 11.5% annually, buy Bitcoin. While Bitcoin rises the scheme works, investors are happy, capital flows in.

I'll say it plainly: That sounds like a shady scheme to me. For the next few years it will play its card and Bitcoin will receive massive, consistent demand. 762 099 on a single balance sheet is real force.

But 11.5% annually doesn't come from nothing. Eventually the arbitrage closes. I would not position MSTR as a "safe way to hold Bitcoin."

But even with a buyer of this size the timing question doesn't disappear.

BTC: The best asset on the market. Not at this price

Yes, Bitcoin is the best risk/reward on the board at any reasonable horizon. Microsoft down 30%, Google down 18–20%, Nasdaq off more than 10% from its highs figures as of publication. Against that backdrop, Bitcoin looks like hard collateral in a world of soft money.

The problem is everyone sees this. And everyone has already bought the "dip."

Where are the stops of those who bought at $80,000? Below current support. Where are the stops of those who averaged down at $70,000 and $67,000? Same place, lower.

My levels: $42,000–$55,000. That is where real liquidity lives. That is where the market needs to go before the move everyone is waiting for can begin.

That $BTC reaches $100,000 is obvious. Which is exactly why the path there runs through the zone where the obvious ends.

Quantum computers and $800B at risk: this is textbook market bottom

Google Research published findings on quantum computers. Fewer qubits than previously estimated to break cryptography. A timeline measured in minutes per key shorter than Bitcoin's average block time. By 2030 the threat could be real.

I won't argue with the math. I'll say something else.

This is a classic. Textbook. This is exactly what the end of a bear market looks like.

First the price drops. Then a narrative emerges that explains why it will drop further. Then that narrative flies across the entire internet within hours. Then everyone "finally understands" why they should sell. And that is precisely the moment when smart money buys.

I've seen this with the China ban. With Mt.Gox. With FTX. Every time, at the end of a bear market, a story appears that sounds like the end of the story. Every time, the story continues.

The quantum threat is real by 2030. Cryptography will be updated as it has been updated every time a new threat emerged over the last 30 years. Bitcoin will survive this too.

In the meantime the headline will do its job. Someone will sell. The story will fly across the entire internet. Price will go exactly where I'm already waiting.

The timing of this news is not a coincidence. It is confirmation.

The first foreign troops from a new United Nations-backed force have arrived in Haiti in an effort to combat escalating levels of gang violence in the Caribbean country.
On Wednesday, the Gang Suppression Force (GSF) announced on social media that an initial group from the African country of Chad had arrived. They were accompanied by Jack Christofides, a UN official from South Africa who is expected to helm the group’s efforts.
Jack Christofides has arrived in Port-au-Prince as Special Representative of the Gang Suppression Force,” the statement said.
An advance team of Chadian forces also arrived, marking the first troop deployment of the expanded GSF.”
No further details were provided about the deployment. The Gang Suppression Force is eventually expected to grow to 5,500 people, and it has an initial mandate of 12 months.
It was authorised last September during a meeting of the UN Security Council, which envisioned the force as a replacement for a Kenyan-led multinational security mission.
That mission, first deployed in 2023, has failed to bring Haiti’s gang violence under control, with officials citing a lack of funding, manpower and institutional support.
The new Gang Suppression Force was first proposed by the United States and Panama as a tool to “neutralise, isolate, and deter” Haiti’s gangs.
Unlike the smaller Kenyan-led mission, whose mandate was to support local police, the Gang Suppression Force will be empowered to make arrests in Haiti.
Twelve members of the UN Security Council voted in favour of its implementation. While no votes were cast against it, China, Russia and Pakistan abstained from the vote.
The Russian representative, Vassily Nebenzia, condemned the proposal at the time as “rushed” and “ill-conceived”, and he warned it could open the door for abuses
The force’s mandate, Nebenzia argued, allows members “to use force against anyone and everyone labelled with the vague term ‘gangs'”.
Haiti has had a long and troubled history of foreign intervention. Most recently, following a deadly 2010 earthquake in Haiti, an outbreak of cholera was linked to poor sanitation practices among UN peacekeepers, killing 10,000 people.
UN personnel in Haiti also faced multiple accusations of sexual assault in the 2000s and 2010s.
Haiti has seen mushrooming levels of gang violence in recent years, particularly after the 2021 assassination of President Jovenel Moise
His death left a power vacuum in Haiti. No presidential elections have been held since his 2016 victory, and Moise had indefinitely postponed legislative elections during his time in office. Haiti’s last democratically elected senators saw their terms expire in 2023.
Criminal groups have used the disarray in the government to question the legitimacy of Haiti’s leaders and expand their reach across the country
As much as 90 percent of the capital Port-au-Prince has fallen under gang control, with approximately 26 criminal groups operating in the densely populated area
In January, the UN estimated that at least 16,000 people had been killed since 2022, and more than 1.5 million were forced from their homes. Many lack adequate food to eat.
A more recent report (PDF) found that — from March 2025 through January 15 of this year — at least 5,519 gang-related deaths were reported and 2,608 were injured.
It noted that some victims were imprisoned and subjected to gang-led “trials”. In certain cases, victims were released with a fine. In others, they were shot dead, and their bodies lit on fire. There were also reports of sexual violence being used as punishment.
The arrival of the Gang Suppression Force comes as Haiti takes steps to hold a national election after years of delays.
The country is scheduled to hold a first round of voting in August. Roughly 300 political parties and groups have registered to take part.
Haiti is currently led by acting Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aime, who recently met with UN officials to discuss gang suppression efforts.
