⚖️ THE NEXT DIGITAL ECONOMY NEEDS RULES THAT CAN EVOLVE

AI capabilities can change quickly. Governance must address how rules are created, applied, and revised as new uses emerge.

For decentralized AI, that raises a difficult coordination question: who gets to shape the rules of a system with many independent participants?

▪️ Builders understand technical capabilities and limitations.

▪️ Users experience the consequences of system decisions.

▪️ Resource providers need clear participation conditions.

▪️ Governance participants must consider competing interests.

My view: the quality of governance depends partly on how these perspectives enter the decision process. Publishing rules is one step; explaining changes and providing ways to challenge decisions are equally valuable.

Permissionless innovation and real-world compliance also create questions that require careful discussion across different activities and jurisdictions.
