ARC just left a 15-hour base — and the pullback matters more than the candle 👀
📌 Why it's on my radar:
• Structure: 15h of sideways coiling above the first leg, then a clean break to a new day high at 07:00 UTC
• Fuel: $98M traded in 24h, open interest building while funding last settled flat at +0.005% — longs are not crowded
• Relative strength: +50% against a BTC that is −2.6% today, with Fear & Greed cooling from Greed (64) to Neutral (53)
• Why now: the breakout is only hours old and price is already stretched — the edge is the retest, not the top tick
⚠️ Watch the set-up, don't chase it:
Price is extended after a vertical push. Chasing the candle here is how breakouts become tops — I want the pullback into the breakout shelf and the reaction there, not a market buy at the high.
🧠 Signs I'm watching for:
— Volume cooling on the retest (sellers not pressing)
— Funding staying near flat (no crowded-long blow-off)
— Open interest holding while price base-builds above the shelf
If buyers defend the shelf on calm volume the continuation thesis strengthens; a close back under the base with funding spiking flips it.
🎯 My personal trade plan (Binance Futures · 10x — not a call):
• Entry zone: 0.04245 – 0.04368 (price now: 0.04394) — wait for the pullback
• Stop-loss: 0.04178 (−3.0% from entry)
• Target: TP1 0.04505 (+4.6%)
• Rule: once TP1 hits, SL moves to entry — a winning trade never becomes a losing one. 🔒 Gate: no entry while price sits above the zone.
❓ Real continuation, or a blow-off top being sold into? What matters more to you here — the retest, the funding, or the volume?
⚠️ Not financial advice. Always DYOR.
