• Eclipse mainnet, an Ethereum L2 powered by the Solana Virtual Machine, was introduced. Its goal is to unite Solana’s performance with Ethereum’s security

• Polygon announced the migration of Canto, an alt-L1 with >$40M TVL, to an Ethereum L2 built with Polygon CDK

• Yearn Finance released yETH, a token that gives holders exposure to a basket of ETH liquid staking derivatives, and went live on Base

• Centrifuge announced its deployment on Base & Arbitrum. Centrifuge is one of the largest real-world assets protocols

• Sturdy Finance introduced Sturdy V2, a new iteration of the protocol that will enable the permissionless creation of new lending markets. The release of V2 is scheduled for October 2023

• Aztec, a privacy Ethereum L2, announced Fernet, which will enable Aztec to have decentralized sequencers. No other major L2 currently has decentralized sequencers

• Velodrome introduced its new concentrated liquidity AMM, Velodrome Slipstream. The AMM will be heading to audit soon

• SSV Network launched a distributed validator technology network mainnet. Its goal is to decentralize Ethereum staking

• Movement, a network of modular Move-based blockchains, was introduced. The project also revealed M1, a modular Layer 1 that is allegedly able to support 160K TPS

• GammaSwap, a DeFi primitive that enables trading volatility, went live on Arbitrum. The protocol has no token (yet) but raised money from VCs
