Updates on the Maintenance Margin Ratios of Cross Margin Loanable Assets Supported in the Portfolio Margin Program and Classic Portfolio Margin Program (2023-09-21)

2023-09-15 09:16

Fellow Binancians,

Binance will be lowering the maintenance margin ratios for Cross Margin loanable assets supported in the Portfolio Margin Program and Classic Portfolio Margin Program  starting from 2023-09-21 08:00 (UTC). This increases the borrowing capacity of Cross Margin users under both programs, allowing them to enjoy enhanced capital efficiency and greater flexibility.

Please note that the adjustments on the maintenance margin ratios of Cross Margin loanable assets will lead to changes on the corresponding leverages. The new maintenance margin ratios and leverages of Cross Margin loanable assets will automatically apply to all open and existing Cross Margin loan positions created under the programs after 2023-09-21 08:00 (UTC).

For more details on the new maintenance margin ratios of each Cross Margin loanable asset (e.g., BTC, ETH, BNB, FDUSD, USDT), please refer to the respective FAQs for the Portfolio Margin Program and Classic Portfolio Margin Program. More information on the new leverages of Cross Margin loanable assets can also be found in these Portfolio Margin Program and Classic Portfolio Margin Program FAQs.
