Binance Enables BETH Deposit and Withdrawal on Binance Smart Chain

Fellow Binancians,

Binance has completed the distribution of BETH. We have opened BETH deposits right now, and users will be able to withdraw BETH to Binance Smart Chain (BSC) on 2021/01/06 at 6:00 AM (UTC). You can log in and check that the tokens have been credited to your account. Please make sure you have not selected “Hide small balances” to see the distributed tokens in your account.

What is BETH？

BETH is a tokenized asset representing your staked ETH on a 1:1 basis. This token has two features:

1. When ETH 2.0 goes live, users can swap BETH to ETH at a 1:1 ratio. 
2. Binance distributes BETH rewards to users' spot accounts daily according to users' BETH position.

Advantages of BETH 

• BETH is the only proof representing users who have staked ETH in Binance. When ETH 2.0 goes live, users can swap BETH to ETH at a 1:1 ratio.
• Heightened security and risk control measures for the wrapped tokens are in place. We also use the SAFU fund to ensure the safety of users’ assets.
