The 4 p.m. post $W has a follow-up: the momentum behind this rally can now pretty much be considered over. At the time, W had just been selected by M^0 as the official interoperability solution (according to the Wormhole.com blog), and surged to 0.0318 in a day. I set 0.027 as my invalidation level—if it fell below that, the rally was over. It’s now 19:09 Beijing time, W is at 0.0266, and it has already fallen below that level. The chart is pretty clear: the 18:00 1-hour candle was down 9.4% (with 1.15 billion tokens in volume), followed by another down 6.0% at 19:00. Those two high-volume bearish candles sent it tumbling about 17% straight down from the 0.0318 peak. The funding rate has also flipped to -0.016%/8h, so longs are paying to get beaten up. OKX perpetuals still have 24-hour trading volume of $9.67 billion, which shows that there’s still heavy turnover at this level—it’s not just a cheap dip caused by one red candle. Why the drop? I looked around and couldn’t find any new negative news. This looks like a classic pullback after a news-driven spike: traders are taking profits after the good news; 50.4 million W will unlock on 10-16 (less than 1% of the circulating supply, so it’s not a huge amount, but the date is approaching), and some traders are choosing to get out early; on top of that, longs who chased the rally are underwater, so once volume picks up, it turns into longs liquidating longs. My view: based on the invalidation level I set this afternoon, the momentum behind this move is over. The 24-hour gain still has +53% left in it, but the structure has turned bearish. If you’re looking to buy the dip, don’t rush in to catch a falling knife—wait for it to stabilize on lower volume at a lower level first. If it can’t even reclaim 0.03 on a bounce, that’s a textbook weak rebound. Reversal invalidation level: if it can climb back above 0.03 on strong volume, then my “momentum is over” call is wrong—but I’m not seeing signs of that right now. Risk warning: This is just a market update, not investment advice. With coins that can surge or plunge in a single day, volatility itself is the biggest risk. Keep your position size small, use stop-losses, and don’t gamble with your principal. A question for you: when you chase these news-driven moonshots, do you prefer to jump in on the first big green candle, or wait for a pullback and stabilization before making a move? #Wormhole #山寨币 #合约

【Breaking news】The most important macro story in crypto today comes from the FSB (Financial Stability Board). Its chair, Andrew Bailey, wrote directly to G20 finance ministers and central bank governors on Monday. The key message was simple: cross-border regulation and crisis-management arrangements for stablecoins are “not mature, and in some cases have not even been established.” The letter also cited some figures: last year, the FSB surveyed 28 jurisdictions, and only 11 had fully put a stablecoin regulatory framework in place. The FSB also warned about a specific scenario: if a stablecoin faces a run, forced sales of reserve assets and withdrawals of bank deposits could transmit risk to traditional financial markets. Stablecoins with multiple issuers are even more complicated—the pressure to redeem could fall entirely on one issuer, while reserves are spread across several countries, making it impossible to coordinate a rescue. My take: this is more significant as a signal than in terms of immediate impact. The G20 finance ministers’ meeting starts Thursday (October 15), which means stablecoin risks are officially on the global policy agenda. Until now, discussions about stablecoin regulation have focused on whether issuers have enough reserves. This time, the FSB has moved straight to “what happens if there’s a run?”—a whole new level. For large stablecoins like $USDT $USDC , the pressure to comply and disclose information will only grow. But don’t read too much into it: regulation is a slow-moving process, and it takes years for the final rules to land. There’s no direct short-term impact on the price of $BTC , so don’t use this as a basis for day trading. And don’t chase “stablecoin concept coins” either—most are just riding the hype. 💬 Let’s talk: Who do you think will be the first target of the next wave of stablecoin regulation: issuers, exchanges, or people using stablecoins for arbitrage in DeFi? #稳定币 #G20 #Regulation

$W just exploded onto the charts today: Binance spot is up 75% in 24 hours, with the price around 0.0304 and total trading volume across the market at $325 million. This isn’t a small-cap coin pumping on wash trading—it’s a genuine breakout on surging volume. Let’s review the move: At midnight, today’s first 4-hour candle jumped 28.7%, rocketing straight up from the 0.0178 base, with $8 million in trading volume on that single candle. At 8 a.m., another candle surged 27.1%, hitting a high of 0.0311, with single-candle volume doubling to $15 million. Those two big, high-volume green candles set the tone. Since then, the price has moved sideways near the highs between 0.028 and 0.031 without breaking down or losing steam, suggesting buyers are still stepping in. Why the rally? This time, the news set the stage and capital put on the show: - M^0 officially announced that it selected Wormhole as its official interoperability solution. Stablecoin M will use the NTT framework to launch on Arbitrum, Base, Solana, and Optimism (according to the official blog). - Two days ago, the Algorand Foundation announced its integration of Wormhole NTT. Hyperliquid’s HYPE also expanded to Solana, Base, and Unichain via NTT (reported about four days ago). A string of cross-chain infrastructure launches has reignited the “interoperability narrative.” Combined with altcoin rotation, W became today’s top gainer. But let’s stay calm: It’s already up 75%, so chasing now means taking the last leg of the relay. Around 50.4 million W is also set to unlock on October 16 (less than 1% of the circulating supply, so selling pressure should be limited, but it could still be a psychological hurdle). My take: Momentum is still there and the breakout structure remains intact, but I’d watch rather than chase. Consider it only if it pulls back to around 0.027—the lower end of the high-level consolidation and the top of the breakout range—and holds. If it falls below 0.027, I’d consider the momentum behind this rally to be over. Don’t hold on stubbornly. ⚠️ Risk warning: This is a highly volatile coin that can move quickly in either direction. Always use stop-losses when trading futures and manage your position size. This is not investment advice. How many more days do you think the cross-chain narrative can keep burning? Can W hold above 0.03? Let’s discuss in the comments 👇 #Wormhole #山寨币异动 #Futures

I’d hold off on popping champagne over this bounce. $BTC climbed back from 81,700 to around 83,800. It looks like a recovery, but weekend trading volume was flatter than a heart monitor with no pulse—price gains without volume are just fool’s gold. The 84,000–85,000 range is the next hurdle, and bulls and bears will likely duke it out there in the short term. As for $ETH , it hasn’t even reclaimed 2,600 and is still stuck below the moving averages. The real action is in altcoins. L2 and ZK tokens are all perking up today: $STRK, LUMIA, and PLUME are all up, while MAGIC gained nearly 40% in a day. But let me pour some cold water on this: I’ve seen this script plenty of times—a market that’s barely alive while a few sectors go on a tear. It’s either the start of a rotation or a bull trap. The way to tell is simple: watch the volume. MAGIC did nearly $200 million in volume—that’s real money. Those coins that double in a day on just a few million dollars in volume? The liquidity pool is too shallow; if you jump in, you’ll be left holding the bag. There’s another divergence signal: ETFs have seen over $1 billion in outflows this month, with institutions pulling back, while on-chain whales scooped up 15,000 $BTC in 72 hours. The two sides are betting against each other—it’s a battle of titans, so us small-time traders shouldn’t rush to pick a side. Wednesday’s CPI is the main event. Until then, my strategy is simple: don’t chase the bounce, watch altcoins but don’t buy, and save your powder for after the CPI release. What do you think—before Wednesday, will $BTC test 85,000 first, or pull back to 82,000? Let’s discuss in the comments. #Bitcoin #Ethereum #Altcoins #CryptoMarket
