$2.04T of it was priced by Pyth.
That is 94.4% of the tracked market across 22 venues.
September showed a market that traded less, but carried more exposure.
Monthly volume cooled from August, while average daily open interest rose 12% to $11.71B and reached a record $12.62B on September 30.
That is a different kind of signal. Traders were not just cycling in and out. They kept positions open across equities, commodities, indices, and FX.
September stayed equity-led, with $310.4B in equity volume. Commodities followed at $198.4B, indices reached $108.0B, and FX added $14.2B.
Venue concentration also loosened. The top five venues accounted for 86.9% of September volume, with Binance, OKX, Hyperliquid, Variational, and Bitget leading the ranking.
Even as venues and asset classes widened, Pyth remained the main pricing layer.
Pyth priced 90.29% of September RWA perp volume and 94.4% of the full Q3 market.
RWA perps are bringing stocks, gold, oil, indices, and FX into markets that trade beyond traditional exchange hours.
Those markets need pricing that can keep up with different assets, venue models, and trading schedules.
Q3 showed where that infrastructure is already being used.
