I’m from Guangdong. For those of us who aren’t in the Pearl River Delta, I feel that most Guangdong people’s families in non–Pearl River Delta areas are pretty poor. It’s pretty much the same as Yunnan-Guizhou-Sichuan-Gansu-Ningxia, and the like.

Just look at the minimum wage standard and you’ll know. People’s poverty is absolutely manufactured by the government. Fuck it.

It’s gotten me to the point where, even after graduating from college ten years ago, I can only get into a factory to do the kind of shift work for basic laborers!

I’ve also worked as a technician, but that was at a Singapore wholly-owned holding subsidiary, which was relatively fair. Now I’m in a U.S. company managed by Chinese people—there are a ton of connections and backdoor relationships—so I can only do basic labor. When I go back to my hometown, I can only make 1,750 yuan a month. In Shenzhen, at least I can make 2,520 yuan a month. Right now I’m making 4,000 yuan a month. You’re telling me I don’t work hard?

If I don’t work hard, how could I end up reading the key middle school in the county city within a poverty county of a population of a million?
If I don’t work hard, how could I stay consistently in the top five of my class for all three years of high school, and then in 2013, with a science college entrance exam score of 480+, take second place in my class? I was one of only two in our class who could go on to an undergraduate program. The first-place student went back to retake, but I—out of ignorance—chose to go to a junior college!

Some crypto buddies might say, “You got under 500 points, and you still dare to talk.” That’s because I was born in the countryside. I never went to tutoring classes, never took online courses, and never had any tutors arranged for me. In senior year I only then learned how to power on and use a computer. In college, I secretly taught myself how to use office software. Nobody guided me academically. My learning was entirely based on listening in class and then taking exams. There was no review, no collecting wrong-answer notebooks—my study method was very crude like that.

So I think at least I’m someone with an IQ that’s good enough to be considered competent, which is why I’m bold enough to say my 480+ college entrance exam score.😭

I’m saying all this because I really see that Guangdong’s minimum wage standard is truly miserable and inhumane. It’s already 2026. By GDP, our country is already the world’s second-largest economy. By military power, we can make it into the top 3. By diligence and cleverness, we can also make it into the top 3. So why are most people still so poor?
Why does life get harder and harder for the people who work hard?

In the Hong Kong drama 《创世纪》, they said: “That’s because someone is stirring things up.”

The thing is—I’m actually a “stock god” who only plays stocks and came into the crypto world to take a risk, because there’s no way out in reality.
