Let’s discuss why Hynix is falling. A fellow trader shared his take!!

I reckon many followers don’t realize that a market shakeout and a decline driven by fundamentals are two completely different things. If it were just a shakeout pushing the price down, that would be an opportunity. But right now, the storage sector is facing the fundamental headwinds of overcapacity, compounded by continued foreign investor outflows. This is no simple shakeout by the big players. Positions at these high levels need massive buying pressure, but right now, money is fleeing. No investor is going to spend big to prop up prices at these levels.

Many retail investors, including some bloggers, only see the positive news about HBM4E and miss the underlying negative factor of overcapacity. That’s the real information gap. A professional trader can’t just look at the surface!!!

Can we actually start building a position in $DOGE now?

Guys, let’s talk about spot Dogecoin.

A lot of people look down on meme coins, but how many people have meme coins made rich? Dogecoin is the original meme coin. It has been through several bull and bear cycles and has already gained widespread market recognition.

Here’s the reasoning behind my strategy:

① Dogecoin’s all-time low was around 0.05, while its current price is 0.083. Even if it fell back to its historical low, the potential loss would still be manageable. But that’s highly unlikely, since it has celebrity backing and a substantial margin of safety.

② The hype is still there. Even luxury carmaker Ferrari supports payments in DOGE, and Elon Musk continues to promote it. Musk said that if McDonald’s accepted DOGE, he’d eat a burger on livestream. There’s also been hype about sending the Dogecoin logo into space aboard a rocket, and so on. Dogecoin is never short on attention.

I’m very optimistic about holding Dogecoin for the long term, so I recommend building a position in batches around the current price of 0.83. My long-term target is 0.5, with a stop-loss at 0.05.

The reasoning is simple: don’t be fooled by the V-shaped rallies in major coins today—the buying pressure is actually very weak. This rally is just a normal rebound after being oversold, not a change in the overall trend. There is still extremely strong selling pressure overhead, and bears remain in control of the market. On top of that, institutions are continuing to sell their holdings, and a SOL treasury company is reportedly planning to sell SOL soon to buy back its shares. Selling sentiment and overhead pressure are both growing, while support below is weak. So shorting major coins offers the best risk-reward, and SOL is by far the weakest among them.

Guys, have you been seeing news lately about SK Hynix showcasing its next-generation HBM4E and officially announcing plans to expand production and build a new wafer fab? A lot of bloggers are hyping this news as a major positive and telling their followers to hurry and buy the dip. But the capital markets have voted with their feet and given us a direct answer: South Korean stocks have fallen sharply for several days in a row, foreign investors continue to pull out of South Korea’s tech stocks, and the memory sector has been hit by widespread selling. SK Hynix plunged more than 10% in a single day. Another thing is that a large number of memory production bases and factories are being built. At present, the computing capacity these memory factories can provide far exceeds demand. This is what’s known as overcapacity, which is why the memory sector has continued to weaken recently.

The logic is actually very simple: the technology is a long-term story, while short-term investors have already cashed out and left. On top of that, the long-term competitive pressure from domestic memory chip makers catching up has made the market worry that memory prices will be held down in the future.

Guys, $UNI has made a V-shaped rebound from the bottom! Is this a reversal or a bull trap during a downtrend?

If you want to figure out which direction UNI is headed and plan your trades sensibly, read on carefully.

UNI has fallen all the way from its high of 9.37, bottoming out at 6.733 before rebounding to its current price of 7.45. The chart shows the MACD turning upward from the bottom and bearish momentum weakening, bringing a short-term recovery rebound. However, the broader bearish structure has not changed. The 30-day moving average is still acting as resistance, and the larger-timeframe downtrend structure has yet to be broken. This rebound could easily be a bull trap, so don't mistake it for a trend reversal.

Suggested trading approach:

I don't recommend chasing a long position in UNI at the current price. For a more cautious approach, wait for the price to rebound to around 7.6 and meet resistance before considering a short position. For an aggressive short-term long: if the price pulls back to 7.2 and holds steady, you could try a small position, but be sure to set a stop-loss.

The gold chart structure still favors the bulls, with strong consolidation. Yesterday, equities weakened unevenly, and risk-averse sentiment gradually increased, continuing to support gold and Bitcoin. The market repeatedly retested lower levels yesterday, but support was very solid. It bounced back as much as it fell—a classic shakeout-and-build-up move, not a bearish reversal.

The morning trend is very clear: the short-term structure continues to form higher lows, and pullbacks are opportunities to enter long positions. Don’t be misled by minor fluctuations. There are currently no signs of an overall trend reversal; consolidation is simply shaking out weak hands before the next push higher. Many people see a small pullback and panic-sell their longs, falling right into the market makers’ shakeout trap.

Trading suggestion:

$XAU Enter a long position near 4160. Take profit at 4190; stop loss at 4150.

Let me ask you: were you scared? $SKHYNIX plunged yesterday. Looking at yesterday’s market, I honestly don’t know how anyone could have thought it was a good time to set up a long position. There was no buying pressure at all, and the bulls were completely overwhelmed by the bears. The rebound was just a bull trap.

I said as early as when it was around 1200 that the move down from 1386.5 was a downtrend. Every rebound failed to get above the monthly moving average—there simply weren’t any signs of a reversal. The DIF crossed below the DEA, and the green bars kept getting longer. Bearish momentum was plain to see, so I gave a short-selling strategy straight away.

Meanwhile, a bunch of bloggers on the Plaza saw one small bullish candle and started shouting that the bottom was in, telling their followers to rush in and buy the dip—basically catching a falling knife. A rebound without volume behind it is just a tactic bears use to trap retail traders chasing the rally. The market is now unfolding exactly as I predicted: a sharp plunge has proved the dip-buyers wrong.

The downtrend is still intact. Don’t rush to call the bottom just because the market has dropped for a while. Until the trend reverses, every rebound remains an opportunity to go short.

Don’t see yesterday’s big bullish candle in SPCX and assume the rocket is about to take off. My intraday view is still the same: pay close attention to the resistance level at 169. If the price can’t break through this barrier, all rebounds should be treated as repairs within a range. As long as trading volume doesn’t pick up, any sharp rise is just handing the bears an opportunity. So don’t blindly chase the rally—the risk of a bull trap is still there.

Trading advice:

If SPCX can’t hold above the key resistance at 169, the price may pull back to around 162 (it has reached this level now; we’ll see whether it breaks lower). If the bears’ selling pressure is fully unleashed, the price could reach around 158. So for now, I suggest staying on the sidelines and waiting for a clear direction.

Don’t let SPCX’s brief rebound fool you into jumping in to buy the dip—it’s really risky. The reason is simple: SPCX has reached a consolidation zone. Looking at the chart, buying and selling pressure are temporarily balanced, and there’s no clear trend in either direction yet. The only slight bearish signal is the MACD.

For a more cautious approach, we can plan our trades around the resistance level at 169. If the price breaks above 169 with strong volume or holds above it, that would signal the rebound is truly underway, and we could follow the trend and enter long positions. If these conditions aren’t met, the price is very likely to retest the bottom at 162. If it breaks below that level, it may continue downward and test the low at 158.

After peaking at 1386.5, it’s been in a downtrend. There were a few rebounds along the way, but none managed to hold above the monthly moving average. That was enough for me to conclude that the rebounds were just traps to lure in buyers and give bears an opportunity. After briefly consolidating over the past two days, it broke down again and pulled back. The price is currently at 1205.9. Rebound volume continues to weaken, and overhead selling pressure remains strong. The DIF has crossed below the DEA, and the green bars are growing, signaling that bearish momentum is building again. So I’m bearish on Hynix.

Trade plan:

Short Hynix at the current price of 1202 with an initial position, and add to it if it rebounds. Set the take-profit at 1180.
