What does this major AI pullback have in common with the dot-com bubble of the early 2000s?
First, technological promise and investment returns are being conflated. The internet did go on to change the world, but that didn’t make money for everyone who bought internet stocks at their highs in 2000. The same is true of AI: widespread adoption, revenue growth, and strong returns for shareholders are three separate things.
Second, in both cases, infrastructure expanded first, while end demand took longer to materialize. Back then, it was fiber-optic cable, telecom networks, and routers; today, it’s GPUs, data centers, electricity, and cloud computing capacity. Infrastructure providers can book revenue early, but ultimately, end customers across the industry still need to pay enough to cover these investments.
Third, profits upstream can amplify investment cycles downstream. When customers expand, equipment orders and profits can grow quickly; once customers slow their purchases, upstream companies may face both lower earnings expectations and falling valuations. Cisco in 2000 is a reminder that real revenue and industry leadership can still come with an excessively high purchase price.
Fourth, the market has now shifted from “rewarding investment” to “scrutinizing returns.” The recent pullback has centered on AI capital expenditure, free cash flow, and the pace of construction; the November 5 sell-off also reflected concerns about data center policy and construction timelines following the U.S. midterm elections. #美股走弱,加密货币市场普遍承压 #美股遭遇2020年以来最严重抛售 $QQQ
An American's unlucky week: laid off because AI made the company more efficient, spent all his severance pay on AI stocks, drove home in a car with high gas prices, and discovered there was no electricity at home because the power plant prioritized data centers. In a fit of anger, he voted for the Democrats in the midterm elections. But after the Democrats won, AI stocks plunged, and everything was ruined......

These two coins, $PONS and $牛来 , seem to have stayed popular. I’ve seen lots of people on the feed going long.
Both were hot coins at first, but they’ve fallen all the way down. Too many holders are trapped, so there can’t be a major uptrend without a thorough shakeout.
$BTC This level has held as support so many times without breaking that it’s very strong. I’ll go long one more time and set a stop-loss below the low.
Also, the nonfarm payrolls report comes out tonight. It seems like everyone expects a very bad number, and prices have already fallen so much. Once the report is released, the bad news may be fully priced in, and prices could start rising.
I have to remind myself this time to take profits and cut losses promptly. Trust only myself; everyone else is an idiot.
Guys, when trading crypto—especially futures—you absolutely have to set a stop-loss. Even a really poorly placed stop-loss is infinitely better than having none.
Even if the price rebounds every time it hits your stop-loss, that’s still infinitely better than having no stop-loss.
Without a stop-loss, you can lose everything in one go. With one, you can afford to lose over and over. #交易 #StopLoss
Looks like the market maker is about to make a move. Short it at the end and make a big profit. $AIN This asset can’t be longed anymore.

The more I look at $AIN , the more something seems off. The bot has been precisely keeping the price at 0.32, holding it there for an hour, while the funding rate has kept turning negative, currently reaching -0.12. Meanwhile, large transfers have appeared on-chain. It’s not clear who these addresses belong to... #AIN

How to Safely Deposit and Withdraw Funds via C2C: Everything You Need to Know
A few days ago, I posted about depositing and withdrawing funds via C2C, and there was quite a lot of discussion in the comments. It’s clear that many people are interested in this topic, but there may be some details they haven’t looked into carefully yet. Today, based on my own experience, I’ll share how I choose a payment method and select a merchant when depositing or withdrawing funds via C2C on Binance, as well as what to watch out for before and after a transaction. These tips can’t guarantee that nothing will ever go wrong, but it’s better to know about potential pitfalls in advance than to deal with them after the fact. If I’ve missed anything or gotten something wrong, feel free to add to the discussion in the comments.
