Interactive Brokers is more than a bet on trading volume.
In Q3, net interest income was $1.154B, versus $602M in commissions. Interest supplied 60.3% of net revenues, up from $967M a year earlier.
More client balances and borrowing can expand earnings alongside trading. But that also makes rates and funding costs part of the investment case.
A growing account count isn't enough if revenue per balance compresses. Compare net interest income with average client balances, not just trade counts.
This is a revenue mix, not a profit split or proof the stock is cheap.
Bitcoin and Bitcoin-treasury shares carry different forced-selling risks.
MSCI has finalized a non-operating-company screen. The final affected-constituent list arrives November 11, with changes effective at the November 30 close.
That is not a confirmed deletion list today.
For investors choosing a treasury stock over BTC, index eligibility adds a risk beyond the coin's price. Index funds selling shares would not itself require the company to sell Bitcoin.
Check the final list and the company's financing needs separately. Don't turn possible equity selling into a guaranteed BTC liquidation.
🚀 TRON’s cumulative transaction volume has surpassed $30 trillion, but what’s even more worth watching is what comes next!
📊 Impressive Q3 data
💵 Quarterly stablecoin settlement volume reached $2.21 trillion 🌍 Average daily settlement volume was about $24.05 billion 👥 Average monthly active addresses totaled 18 million, up 9.8% quarter over quarter 💰 The total supply of USDT and USDD reached $93.88 billion
🏦 Accelerating connections with traditional finance
Polygon Open Money Stack now supports TRON, making it easier for fintech and payment service providers to access regulated U.S. payment channels and connect with the on-chain stablecoin ecosystem.
🔐 Preparing for future security challenges
TRON is testing post-quantum cryptography on its testnet to prepare for potential risks from quantum computing in the future. This is not yet a completed upgrade to the mainnet.
🌐 Expanding industry partnerships
🛡️ Participating in the INTERPOL New Technologies Forum to discuss compliance and security issues.
🏢 Discussing RWA asset tokenization and the development of global financial markets at Korea Blockchain Week.
💡 The bigger picture
Stablecoin settlements, connections with traditional finance, security upgrades, and institutional engagement are becoming important areas of focus for TRON’s development.
$30 trillion is a milestone; what’s truly worth looking forward to is the practical adoption and continued growth of the next phase. 🌍
One positive ETF day did not reverse the three-session total.
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs took in $175.7M on October 13. Across October 12-14, they still lost a net $151.1M. Ether ETFs lost $190.1M over those same completed U.S. sessions, according to Farside.
If I'm looking for returning demand, I want persistence, not one green row.
This is a short window and only the ETF channel. It doesn't prove where prices go next, or which asset faces more pressure relative to its fund size.
🏡 I got home and discovered that the comfiest spot on the sofa had already been claimed by TRON Bull. 😂
The sunset was shining right into the living room, and this little guy was sitting there, seeming to know how to enjoy life even better than I do.
It was originally just a little gift I brought home from a TRON community event. I never expected it to become part of the family.
Most of the time, it’s either watching the market or busy checking out all kinds of crypto trends. Every now and then, it’s nice to step away from the computer, have a coffee, and watch the sunset outside. ☕🌅
But at this rate, shouldn’t TRON Bull start paying rent too? 😂❤️
ASML can sell more chipmaking capacity without selling another new machine.
In Q3, $ASML 's service and field-option sales reached €3.289B, up 19.1% from Q2. Management says demand for productivity upgrades helped lift company-wide gross margin to 57.5%.
The opportunity: earn more from equipment customers already own, alongside new-system sales.
But upgrades aren't a guaranteed subscription, and customer expansion plans aren't orders.
I'd watch repeat service-and-upgrade demand and cash generation through the cycle. Slowing customer utilization or weaker upgrade demand would weaken the thesis.
JPMorgan earned $15.3B. Net buybacks were $664M. The opportunity is what retained capital earns next.
$JPM Q3 2026 release says management reduced repurchases to prioritize investment and clients.
That benefits shareholders if reinvestment beats buying back shares at the available price.
I'd test earnings per share against credit losses and expenses. If growth requires worse underwriting or rising costs absorb the gains, retaining capital hasn't proved its value.
Fewer buybacks can be sensible. They still need to earn their place.
AI agents could make CPUs a bigger part of AMD's AI business.
On October 12, $AMD introduced Helion, an open rack blueprint with a CPU-only configuration supporting up to 32,768 cores. Configurations are planned for November 2026.
Agents need compute to execute code and run workflows, alongside the GPUs handling model inference. That could create another route to EPYC sales.
But a blueprint isn't an order, and some spending may replace existing servers.
My decision: WATCH.
I want paid deployments and repeat orders that improve earnings and cash generation. Delays, weak adoption or substitution without additional profit would weaken the case.
AI chips get the attention. Broadcom can also get paid to connect them.
$AVGO’s Tomahawk 6 delivers 102.4 Tb/s of switching capacity, twice Tomahawk 5’s 51.2 Tb/s. It is already shipping in production volume.
Its October 8 OCP preview puts switches, network interfaces and integrated optics in focus.
The investment opportunity: larger AI clusters need to move data between accelerators. Broadcom sells part of that connectivity.
There is already a substantial business behind the thesis: Q3 AI semiconductor revenue reached $16.7B. But that includes custom accelerators and networking, not networking alone.
Twice the bandwidth does not mean twice the revenue. More capable chips can reduce the hardware needed for a given workload.
My decision: WATCH.
I want customer deployments to translate into profitable shipments and durable cash flow. Slower adoption, pricing pressure or weaker customer spending would weaken the case.
Connecting more compute can be valuable. The stock still needs a price that leaves room for shareholder returns.
What happens when AI stops merely answering questions and starts spending money on its own?
At TOKEN2049 Singapore, Justin Sun shared his vision for the future of TRON, AI Agents, and the on-chain economy.
🚀 The next step for AI Agents
In the future, AI may not only analyze data and perform tasks, but also, within authorized limits:
💻 Purchase APIs, computing power, and digital services 💳 Make payments automatically 🤝 Collaborate with other AI Agents
New economic activity may emerge between machines.
💵 The opportunity for TRON
TRON already has mature infrastructure for stablecoin transfers. As AI Agents develop, blockchain could become an important network for payments and settlements between machines.
Justin also mentioned B.AI, an AI platform in the TRON ecosystem.
🔐 The real challenge
Giving AI a wallet isn’t difficult. The hard part is managing the risks.
Who grants authorization? How can spending be limited? Who is responsible if a transaction goes wrong?
AI autonomy must be built on a foundation of safety and control.
🏆 Justin Sun Prize
Justin also introduced the Justin Sun Prize, which supports mathematical research and machine-verifiable proofs. Its first release featured 66 mathematical problems.
💡 What’s worth watching in the future isn’t just how intelligent AI becomes, but whether it can participate in real economic activity safely and reliably.
GlobalFoundries could earn from AI's packaging demand without making the GPU.
On October 8, $GFS announced a manufacturing agreement with TSMC, described as worth $2B, to supply silicon interposers for its CoWoS advanced-packaging ecosystem.
GF plans added capacity in Malta, New York. Volume production is expected to begin ramping in H1 2028, under an initial five-year agreement.
That is a concrete route into AI spending. It is not proof of $2B in guaranteed revenue: the announcement doesn't disclose minimum purchases, project capex or margins.
My decision: WATCH.
I'm watching the ramp turn into paid shipments and cash flow after capex. Delays or poor returns on the added capacity would weaken the case.
AI demand can create business for suppliers beyond the GPU makers. Shareholders still need profitable execution at a sensible stock price.
XPENG could earn from robotaxis without running the fleets itself.
$XPEV's proposed model combines hardware sales, services and commissions, with partners handling fleet operations. That could add income beyond selling the vehicle.
On October 8, YOYO opened invitation-based registration in China, not unrestricted commercial availability. Earlier 1-yuan internal rides tested payments and service workflows, not an established commercial fare.
The shareholder opportunity depends on what XPENG keeps after costs. Registration doesn't demonstrate profitable recurring revenue.
WATCH: commercial fleet contracts, repeat paid use and positive profit contribution. Delays or support costs absorbing the fees would weaken the thesis.
Wolfspeed could receive up to $1.5B in government financing. But how much of the upside will existing shareholders keep?
$WOLF's conditional loan commitment could help refinance debt and expand domestic SiC and GaN semiconductor production. It is not funding received.
The proposed government warrants cover up to 7.5% of a specified fully diluted equity base. That calculation excludes common shares issued to satisfy the required company contribution. The contemplated deal also calls for efforts to convert existing convertible debt into equity.
So 7.5% is not a ceiling on total dilution.
The opportunity is stronger domestic semiconductor capacity, with potential applications in AI data-center power. But funding isn't profit.
I'm watching the final financing terms, funded tranches, total diluted share count and whether production generates profitable sales. Failed funding or dilution that outweighs the operating gains would weaken the case.
Better financing creates shareholder value only if the business gains more than shareholders give up.
🧦 The crypto market never sleeps, but we all need to take a break sometimes. 😂
Tonight, no checking candlestick charts, no watching the market, and no researching the next hot topic. I’m just curled up on the sofa watching TV and enjoying some much-needed downtime.
I didn’t expect the red socks I got at a TRON community event to become one of the pairs I wear most often at home. 🔴
From in-person events to everyday life, some community memories just quietly find their way into our lives.
The market can wait until tomorrow. Tonight, it’s time to get some proper rest. ☕❤️
