Why don’t flash loans require collateral?
Common uses for flash loans include arbitrage, liquidations, swapping collateral, and transferring debt to another protocol.
Flash loans can work without collateral thanks to transaction atomicity: the entire transaction either succeeds or is rolled back, so borrowed funds can never go unpaid.
The lending protocol Aave behind $AAVE supports flash loans. Currently 148.05.
Don’t rush into a trade just because everyone around you is doing it.
