According to the latest news from blockchain data analysis platform ChainCatcher, according to Lookonchain's monitoring data, 9 US Bitcoin spot ETFs reduced their holdings by a total of 2,297 BTC today.
Among them, Fidelity Investments reduced its holdings by 1,596 BTC, equivalent to about $106.3 million. It currently holds 172,753 Bitcoins with a market value of about $11.5 billion. On the other hand, Grayscale Investments also reduced its holdings by 12 BTC, equivalent to about $770,000. It currently holds 282,148 Bitcoins with a market value of about $18.8 billion.
This data shows that despite the volatility of Bitcoin prices, the number of coins held by large investment institutions is still huge. This may indicate that although there may be fluctuations in the market in the short term, in the long run, these institutions' confidence in Bitcoin remains strong.
