$10 Million Altcoin Purchase from New Crypto Wallets
Two newly opened cryptocurrency wallets attracted attention by purchasing altcoins worth nearly $10 million.
On-chain data and analysis account The Data Nerd, in its post on June 1, stated that two cryptocurrency wallets made a large amount of purchases in the Ethereum layer-2 scaling solution Arbitrum (ARB) as soon as they were opened.
The first of these wallets purchased 4.4 million ARBs worth $4.93 million through Coinbase, the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the United States. The other whale wallet purchased 5 million ARB worth $5.6 million.
The move made by these whales shows that they are expecting a rise towards Arbitrum.
According to CoinGecko data, Arbitrum is trading at $1.13 at the time of writing, down only 0.1% in the last 24 hours.
