Blockchain Industry News: ETF provider ProShares announced that Steve Munroe has joined the company as Managing Director and Chief Marketing Officer. Munroe will be based in the company's office at Hudson Square in New York City, reporting directly to Michael L. Sapir, CEO of ProShares, and will join the company's management team.

Prior to joining ProShares, Munroe served as Head of Marketing at Global X, where he has been responsible for overseeing growth plans to drive the company's ETF product line in the United States, Europe and other regions since 2015. Prior to this, Mr. Munroe also held marketing and research positions at Liberty Mutual Insurance and Kantar (formerly MaPS). This personnel change may have an impact on ProShares' market strategy and deserves market attention.
