According to ChainCatcher, StarkWare has partnered with Cartridg to launch a new extension framework, ZKThreads, based on ZK execution sharding.

It aims to solve the fragmentation problem by providing a standardized development environment that supports verifiable applications. ZKThreads will be particularly beneficial for high-performance DApps such as blockchain games and DEX on Starknet.
