According to Foresight News, Bitcoin pledge protocol Babylon has announced plans to launch a new testnet, 'Babylon Testnet-4', at the end of May 2024. The testnet will focus on the security of pledged Bitcoin through the interaction of test users with the BTC Signet test network. It's important to note that this testnet only involves the BTC Signet test network and does not involve the Babylon PoS test chain.
Babylon has clarified that this testnet does not have any incentives. The purpose of the testnet is to allow interested parties to evaluate and familiarize themselves with Bitcoin pledge-related operations. The previous version, Testnet-3, is scheduled to shut down on May 16, 2024, at 20:00.
