According to BlockBeats, on May 11th, blockchain data revealed that multiple wallets began sending ETH to an address from which 1155 WBTC had been stolen. The transfers started at 16:47 Beijing time on May 10th. The first transfer was 29.999 ETH, followed by over 225 wallet transactions from various accounts, each transaction value ranging between 29 and 67 ETH. The attacker eventually returned a total of 22,960.07 ETH, worth 65.7 million USD, representing over 96% of the initial stolen funds' dollar value.

It should be noted that after the successful theft of WBTC, the attacker converted it to ETH, which subsequently experienced a decrease in value. This series of transactions highlights the potential vulnerabilities in digital wallets and the need for robust security measures to protect digital assets.
