Crypto scam alert! Chinese authorities have nabbed a suspect involved in a massive identity forgery case linked to the StarkNet (STRK) airdrop. The accused, Lan Mou, allegedly assumed multiple identities and submitted over 40 fraudulent Early Community Member Program airdrop forms, claiming more than 40,000 STRK tokens. After the airdrop, these tokens were transferred to an OKX wallet and converted to over $91,000 worth of Tether (USDT). This large-scale identity theft for claiming others' airdrops seems to be a first in the crypto world. The StarkNet Foundation had launched a 700 million STRK token airdrop on Feb. 20, which saw significant interest with the first 45 million tokens claimed in less than 90 minutes.
