FTX investors want to work with Sam Bankman-Fried
A group of investors have agreed to settle their civil lawsuit against former FTX CEO Sam Bankman-Fried in exchange for his cooperation in their case against celebrities who promoted the platform.
The investors submitted a settlement agreement to the Miami court. It states that Bankman-Fried has valuable information that could be used in a case against others involved in the FTX bankruptcy case. We are talking about a number of celebrities - basketball player Shaquille O'Neal, businesswoman Gisele Bündchen, football star Tom Bradley, entrepreneur Kevin O'Leary and some others.
Although it is common knowledge that the defendant [Bankman-Fried] is currently incarcerated and has limited resources, he can still make reasonable efforts to cooperate with victims, said one of the lead attorneys working on the class action lawsuit. Adam Moskowitz.
