America's largest financial institution, JPMorgan has launched a blockchain-based payment platform called JPM Coin
Information from Bloomberg, the platform will allow institutional clients, including many multinational corporations, to trade 24/7 in Euro (EUR) on JPMorgan accounts. German conglomerate Siemens is the first organization recorded to have paid in EUR on JPM Coin.
This event is a significant improvement to existing trading platforms at traditional banks. Normally transactions on old platforms can take several hours, or several business days.
