🇹🇷 Crypto investment platforms eToro and M2 have received varying degrees of approval from the ADGM Financial Services Regulatory Authority to offer services in the United Arab Emirates. eToro has received a Financial Services Permit (FSP) allowing it to operate as a broker for securities, derivatives and crypto assets. Cryptocurrency exchange M2 has been recognized as a fully regulated Multilateral Trading Facility (MTF) and clientele that can accept UAE residents and institutional clients.
🇹🇷 Yoni Assia, founder and CEO of eToro, said the new UAE license is "an important milestone in our continued global expansion." M2's services in the UAE will include crypto custody to retail and institutional customers, Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH) trading in UAE dirhams, and on/off services for dirhams.
🇹🇷 As the UAE continues to attract international crypto players with its business licenses, ADGM's registration authority introduced comprehensive regulations governing Web3 entities in November. Do you think these developments will increase the attractiveness of the UAE for the crypto industry? We are waiting your comments.#crypto#UAE#eToro#M2
