Bitcoin surpassed the $70,000 level for the first time in a week. 🚀 Ethereum regained $3,500, while DOGE rose above $0.2.

Bitcoin failed to break $71,000 last week, and bears dropped it to $68,000 on Monday and $66,000 on Tuesday. However, the bulls initiated a surge that pushed the cryptocurrency's value to just above $69,000.

There was further volatility at the end of the week, with the asset rising to $69,000 on Friday and Saturday. The bulls tried to break $70,000 on Sunday but failed. However, this level came as BTC broke through it today and reached just above $71,000.

BTC's market cap has approached $1.4 trillion, while its dominance over other cryptocurrencies has increased slightly to 50.4% in CG.

Ethereum, the second largest cryptocurrency, is among the best performers in the last 24 hours. ETH rose nearly 5% and broke above $3,500 for the first time in weeks.

Other major cryptocurrencies are also green, but in a more modest way. The total cryptocurrency market value increased by approximately $70 billion in one day, approaching $2.8 trillion. 💹
