Why is it a good thing for EOS not to have B1?
EOS is a layer 1 blockchain designed to solve the scalability issues faced by first- and second-generation blockchains. Since its launch in 2018, EOS has been used by developers to build various blockchain applications and ecosystems with its open source technology, thus promoting the development of fields such as supply chain, decentralized finance (DeFi) and game finance (GameFi).
EOS’s block producers are promoting the development of EOS and deploying capital efficiently by creating a new entity called the EOS Network Foundation (ENF). Additionally, EOS’s block producers passed a proposal to stop locking tokens for use by B1, allowing the EOS network to become a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO).
