🚨 Founder of Bitcoin Fog, a $400 million crypto mixing service, was convicted of money laundering in the US Roman Sterlingov, 35, was found guilty of money laundering, conspiracy to launder money and operating a business license-free money transmission.

🔍 Bitcoin Fog operated from 2011 to 2021, moving more than 1.2 million BTC (valued at $400 million) mostly from dark markets related to narcotics, computer fraud, and identity theft.

⚖️ Sterlingov faces a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison for the most serious charges. Sentencing is scheduled for July 15.
