But Musk, Neuralink's CEO, downplayed investor concerns about the animal test results, according to a letter filed with the SEC.

Musk wrote that "no monkey has died as a result of the Neuralink implant" on social network X on September 10. He added that the company chose "terminal" monkeys to minimize the risk to healthy ones
